Every year, the Student Ambassador Program selects a small number of talented international students to represent Study Cairns in the community and tell the world about their
unique experiences while studying and living in Cairns.
The program offers a fantastic opportunity, not only to represent your home country, but also to share your passion for living and studying in Cairns.

What is the role?
Tell the world how much you love studying and living in Cairns
Post regular updates on social media about your life in Cairns, to be shared by Study Cairns
Participate in Study Cairns events
Volunteer at the Cairns Student Hub
Help welcome new students to this great city and encourage them to love Cairns as much as you do
What do I get?
Opportunities to experience some of the great tours and excursions Cairns has to offer
Get involved in community and event volunteering
Develop communication, interpersonal, networking, and leadership skills
Make new friends and help other international students studying in Cairns
Do I qualify?
You must Live & Study in the Cairns region
You must be enrolled in a Study Cairns School or Institute for the duration of the program(listed on Study page)
You must have a valid Student Visa
You must have an IELTS level of 5 or above
AND MOST OF ALL…..You must LOVE Cairns!
