Peace Lutheran College

We are a Prep to Year 12 Christian, co-educational day and boarding school, who is recognised for its vision to be “at the forefront of innovative education” and is known for its culture of inclusiveness, where everybody is somebody. Our student body is one of diversity, embodying community, and for this reason is affectionately referred to as ‘Peace’ by its College families and local community.

At Peace it is our aim to offer a quality schooling experience where God’s love for every person is evident and informs all that we do. We believe in developing the whole person which is at the heart of what we do at Peace, ensuring our school is a place where everyone feels valued.

Our school was founded in 1994 and is part of the larger system of Lutheran schools in Queensland -Lutheran Education Queensland. Peace is a school with a mission to serve other Christian and non-Christian families in providing a quality Christian education for all

We cater for a diverse range of students from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. Our boarding facilities allow us to serve students from a wide area of North Queensland, Torres Strait, South East Asia and beyond.

Peace Lutheran College today is a testimony to a task that has had many hands to the wheel, developing every aspect of the school into its current niche in the Cairns Community. The school provides the Cairns community with a further choice of quality education for children. Our staff are committed to encouraging well being and the pursuit of success -academic or otherwise, and to developing young men and women of character.
