Cairns College of Education & Business on Japan TV

Nami Matsuoka and her colleague Jihye from Cairns College of English and Business were recently filmed by the crew of Japanese TV show Chichin Pui Pui. It’s one of the most popular shows on Japanese television! It’s a terrific example of Study Cairns members gaining international exposure for Cairns as an education tourism destination.

Nami and Jihye were at Osaka station when the TV comedians and crew interviewed them for the TV show which reaches into homes across Japan.

“Where are you from?” the crew asked.

“We’re from Cairns!” Nami told them enthusiastically.

“We work at Cairns College of English and Business”, Nami said. “It’s an English language school and vocational college in Queensland, Australia.”

The presenter said that he had been to Cairns and went on to tell Nami and Jihye how much he enjoyed his visit to north Queensland.

Well done to Cairns College of English and Business for helping to spread the word about Cairns!
