The fun side of #ANZA2017 Workshop

The Australia New Zealand Agent (ANZA) Workshop in Cairns from 5 – 7 April 2017 was deemed to be the most successful ANZA workshop in its ten year history. Curtis Pitt MP, Treasurer and Minister for Trade & Investment was the Guest of Honour at the Study Cairns farewell function at the Cairns Cruise Liner terminal. The farewell event was an opportunity for delegates to let their hair down and cement new friendships developed over a few days of intense business networking. The  2017 ANZA event will be forever remembered as a fun conference with the Cairns community laying down the welcome mat in true tropical north Queensland style.

Cairns Regional CouncilStudy Cairns would like to thank Cairns Regional Council for their phenomenal support of international education in Cairns. Bringing the ANZA Workshop in Cairns, the first time it’s been held in a regional centre, has taken many years of planning. Study Cairns is grateful to work with proactive organisations such as Cairns Regional Council, whose support has helped to ensure the success of this significant international event.

Rod Hearps, Vice President of ICEF, the event organiser, says that the strong support from the Cairns business community has been phenomenal.

‘The support received from Cairns business operators is integral to the success of ANZA 2017. Every significant business operator in Cairns who is involved with education tourism is represented at ANZA. We’ve seen a 15% increase in participation number from the 2016 ANZA Melbourne event. No other ANZA event in the past ten years has been so strongly supported by the local business community,’ said Rod.

We hope you enjoy just some of the fabulous photos collated from the fun side of ANZA 2017. Don’t forget to follow our Facebook page, where there are lots more photos from all ANZA 2017 workshops and functions.
