Tropical North QLD Innovation Awards – enter now!
Entries are now open for the newly launched 2016 Tropical North Queensland Innovation Awards (TNQiA) will recognise and reward those working innovatively across the vast and diverse Tropical North Queensland region.
Trail-blazing local entrepreneurs, creative thinkers and smart businesses who demonstrate a spirit of ingenuity and innovation are encouraged to apply.
The awards will recognise people and businesses who are doing new things. This might be the creation of a new product or the development of a new process or service – the scope is huge!
And, because some of the best ideas are still works in progress, there are Pipeline categories for products, processes and services that are still emerging and Proven categories for those ideas that are already on the market or under implementation.

Entering the awards is free, quick and easy and will help get the word out about your great idea.
Award entrants will be promoted in the mainstream media as well as through all the TNQiA social media channels and website.
In addition, the TNQiA network will include investors, government and professional advisors who will be able to assist you in achieving your innovation goals.
The awards are free to enter and category winners will each receive a prize of $1,000 cash plus a customised package of professional services valued at more than $5,000 to assist in further development of their innovation.
Award submissions are open until 15 August 2016. Awards presentation is on 14 November 2016.
