Study Cairns welcomes international students

Study Queensland and Study Cairns are continuing to work with students and the international education and training sector, as we have done throughout the pandemic. Welcoming students to study, work and live safely in Cairns, once more we’re excited to help students achieve their study and career goals in our region.

All the latest resources and up-to-date information that international students need to help support their return to learning can be found at the Study Queensland website.

Regulations for international arrivals into Australia changed on 22 January 2022. Now, students with valid visas who are fully vaccinated with a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised vaccination can enter Queensland with no quarantine required. Students will be required to take a TGA approved rapid antigen test within the first 24 hours of arrival in Queensland.

As the situation with international arrivals into Australia changes,  we recommend that students keep checking back with the Australian Government requirements into Australia, along with entry requirements into Queensland.

Here’s a handy list of resources for planning to study, live and work in Australia and Queensland.
